Your wedding is a momentous occasion!

Shelley brings her warmth and talent to many events in life that you will want to remember. As your wedding photographer, she will be with the bride and groom as much as possible throughout the day - capturing candid moments as well as putting her delightful spin on your “formal” wedding photographs. For her, photographs of your wedding are the first photographs she will take of you on your journey through life together. Shelley hopes to photograph all the great events of your lives, and the spaces in between. She will capture these moments for you...so you will remember.

What happens now?

Spaces are limited, so email to inquire if your date is available. Next, you will meet with Shelley for an initial consultation. It is very important that the personalities of the couple and the photographer are compatible.

Shelley's Photography is largely Photojournalistic. Her photographic style and manor of working need to be desired and respected by the couple. Once the two parties agree to work together, then money and contracts are exchanged.

50% of your package price is required to hold your wedding date. This is a non-refundable retainer. It will not be returned to the couple for any reason, unless the photographer is unable to continue services. The deposit accompanies a signed contract by the photographer and the financially responsible parties detailing the service and date to be held.

It is very important for the couple to choose the right package and time frame. Overtime is $275/hr beyond the contracted time. It is the couple's responsibility to coordinate the day accordingly. Shelley is happy to help you plan out your day to be sure you get the photographic coverage you need to document your special day.

Remember, photographs of the Bride and Groom are extremely important. Photographing “formal” shots of family and friends should be limited to ensure that adequate time is available to photograph the couple. Shelley realizes that each couple has their own needs and will work with you to accommodate all of your photographic wishes.

Shelley prefers to photograph the bride and groom after the ceremony. The joy is very visible, even on film! This is the best time to see the love and excitement of the couple. All photographs not involving the bride and groom together will be taken before the ceremony if possible. This allows a little more time after the ceremony for more photographs to be taken.

Shelley shoots with Canon Digital equipment in available light and uses flash only when necessary. When the season permits, outdoor locations are the preferred location for all wedding photographs. In the event of winter, rain, or strong attachments to the alter, proper lighting will be on hand for indoor photographs.
